Lamellar macular hole following intravitreal aflibercept injection in a patient with neovascular age-related macular degeneration

Purpose: To report a case where lamellar macular hole (LMH) developed following intravitreal injection of aflibercept due to neovascular age-related degeneration (nAMD).
 
 Material and Methods: A 70-year-old man diagnosed with nAMD underwent injections for three consecutive months. At follow up, the resolution subretinal fluid was revealed by optical coherence tomography (OCT), visual improvement observed. One month later, impairment occurred respect activation membrane. Hence, performed again. Results: The LMH after one last injection, as demonstrated OCT, in addition some improvement.
 Conclusion: our knowledge, this is first study reporting such formation injection. literature evaluated mechanisms explaining
